The Sexiest Fitness Program Yet.!

Picture
Zumba is a popular fitness program inspired by Latin dance. The word “Zumba” comes from a Colombian word that means to move fast and have fun, which is just how people describe the routine. Using upbeat Latin music together with cardiovascular exercise, Zumba is aerobic dancing that is lots of fun and easy to learn.

Is Zumba Good for Weight Loss?
Zumba seems to be an optimal fitness choice, mixing cardio intervals with resistance training. Zumba mixes effective body sculpting movements with easy-to-follow, fun dance steps. People seem to forget about working out during a Zumba session, allowing them to exercise longer, and burn even more calories. Physically, you will likely burn between 500-1000 calories in one-hour! You will build cardio strength and tone muscles. Mentally, you will relieve stress, stimulate your brain by learning coordination and new steps, plus it makes you smile and sweat at the same time! We think you'll find that after one class, you can't wait to come back again!

What’s a Zumba Class Like?
A typical Zumba session lasts about an hour and incorporates several dance styles, including cumbia, merengue, salsa, reggaeton, mambo, rumba, flamenco, and calypso and Salsaton. The Latin music includes both fast and slow rhythms, allowing for a great cardio workout as well as body sculpting exercises. Many times instructors put in songs that are not Latin so the students recognize the music and can sing along or do them at home.

Is Zumba for Me?
Zumba is for any age (16 and older for our classes), any body size, any nationality and any fitness level. If you want to get in shape, meet other women in the community, or improve your rhythm, Zumba is for you. It is a free expression zone for women where they can begin feeling good about themselves.

Do I have to know how to dance?

No dance experience, no problem! Most participants are not former dancers. This is a dance-fitness class, not a dance class. We use dance movements and workout to music but you do not need dance experience. You just need a great attitude and a willingness to try something new!

What if I am out of shape?

Know your own body! Most people know their limits. If not, see your doctor before attempting any type of exercise. Work out at your own pace until you are comfortable with the routine/exercise. The instructors will demonstrate easier ways to do some moves. They will continue on with the pace of the class, but you whatever you like. You are welcome to take breaks, stand in place and clap, or make up your own moves. It is your time to get in shape and have fun.
